About WEDA - Our Leadership
WEDA is managed by economic development professionals from around the
state and representing a diverse group of organizations.
The Executive Committee manages the
day to day operations of the organizations. Their objective is to take
the mission and goals of the Board of Directors and make it a reality in
partnership with the Executive Director. Their meetings are on the
second Wednesday of the month usually via conference call.
Our Board of Directors comprises 18
members from public and private organizations all over the state.
Nominations are sought in November and candidates are voted in at our
annual meeting in February. Board members serve for a term of three
years.
