WEDA puts on two events per year including our Winter Annual Legislative Meeting held in Olympia and our annual Spring/Summer conference.

- Export Financing Assistance Center of Washington-
The Export Voucher program is a key element of Export Washington. This program will reimburse eligible SBCs up to $5,000 for pre-approved expenses, such as training, marketing campaigns, trade show and mission expenses, business travel expenses, etc. to increase export sales. - Northwest Trade Adjustment Assistance Center-
the attached information about assistance that is available for U.S. companies that have been impacted by imports. These grants from the Northwest Trade Adjustment Assistance Center can be valuable tools to help companies remain viable and become more competitive.
- The Workforce Board and Department of Commerce are accepting nominations for the 2010 Governor's Best Practices Awards in Economic and Workforce Development. You are invited to submit nominations highlighting accomplishments in the combined field of economic and workforce development in Washington's communities, particularly achievements that create family-wage jobs, encourage innovation, and promote an environmentally healthy economy. The annual Governor's Award for Best Practices in Workforce and Economic Development brings statewide public and professional recognition to projects and programs that have achieved positive results and have made noteworthy contributions to both the field of workforce and economic development.
